Morven Park Extended Family Session | Leesburg Family Photography

When this mama first reached out to me about scheduling an extended family session, I was a little nervous. Because I consider myself a lifestyle photographer I try to focus on the natural interactions among family members and not do too much posing if I can help it. The thought of trying to capture those interactions among eight people was just a little overwhelming. I'm so glad I did get to capture this family's photos, because they were such a joy to work with!

We opted to meet on an exceptionally windy afternoon at the beautiful Morven Park, which is quickly becoming one of my favorite locations to hold family sessions. We spent some time walking though their stunning grounds, and when it got too cold for the littlest one to be outside for much longer, he headed back to the car with his grandparents while his older brother stayed outside for just a bit longer to have a pretty epic leaf fight with his parents. It looks to me like they all had a ton of fun!
