March Review | Ashburn Virginia Family Photography
Hello, and happy April! Supposedly. We've had quite the array of weather over the last few weeks, as you can see from the very wide variety of outfits Charlie is sporting in these photos. Early in March we took a little field trip to the Reston Used Book Shop, which both Charlie and I loved. I could spend all day browsing old books, looking for treasures, but sadly her attention span is just a bit shorter than mine.
A new grocery store opened near us, and to Charlie's joy came well-stocked with little carts perfectly sized for her to push around and attempt to run strangers over with.
Charlie also celebrated a huge milestone this month, her very first haircut. Although it wasn't much more than a trim it was an emotional moment for Steve and I, but I'm happy to report that Charlie had a blast and loved being treated like the rock star she is.
I love the way she can find joy in the most mundane activities, like making the bed.
Or taking a walk with her favorite stuffed animal.
Or playing in the gorgeous light streaming through our kitchen on burger night.
I made Steve stand in the pretty light as well so I could play around creating a silhouette.
We experienced our first decent snowfall of the season in mid-march, and of course we had to go play in it. We were even joined by Charlie's new pet dinosaur!
And then a few days later it was sunny and 70 again, so we broke out the bubble machine.
These flowers were so gorgeous I had to take a few snaps before they become covered in snow again this weekend.
