April Review | Northern Virginia Lifestyle Family Photography
Whelp, it’s May already! We’re gearing up to celebrate Charlie’s fourth birthday (!!!) but here’s a look at what we’ve been up to in April!
We took a quick trip to Burnside Farms where their fields of tulips were phenomenal, I could have easily spent the whole day taking pictures there, but per usual Charlie lasted about ten minutes taking pictures with me before she made a b-line for the playground!
Of course living in Northern Virginia I’d be remiss if we didn’t go visit at least one cherry blossom… I think this is a cherry blossom, can someone verify?
Charlie took this one of me (pretty much the only way I can get her to cooperate with me taking pictures of her these days) and I am so very proud of her!
A few from a gorgeous foggy morning that had our entire family outside first thing in the morning, even before the coffee (which does NOT happen in my house).
And of course we couldn’t let Easter pass without painting some eggs.
We tried a new stay-at-home activity where we used window markers to color on our glass screen door and it was a blast for all three of us!
We also took a trip out to the Old Lucketts Store, which is another fun place I could spend an entire day taking pictures. I just love all the vintage awesomeness there and all the fun colors and textures. We also found my husband in tree form, labeled as “Plant nerd.”
And just a few other random favorites from this past month
And finally, I forced my family to take kind of a different family portrait this month; I can’t wait to see these printed life sized and up on the wall!
